Subject: Poor sanitary condition in the city.

Venerable Sir,

Through the courtesy of your columns I wish to voice my concern and draw the attention of the concerned authorities to a matter that is causing us great inconvenience. I have personally observed that your newspaper always stresses on the problems of common people.

I live in Karachi where the most pressing problem is the insanitary condition in the city. Heaps of rubbish has accumulated in the city and they are spreading over all the roads and streets. No corporation truck is visiting the city to carry away the rubbish and no sweepers are there to clean these all. In addition to that, gutters are overflowing on roads and traffic is forced to pass through the knee-deep water at some places on the roads.

It is high time for the Administrator of Karachi to take an immediate action and to take arrangements to relieve the residents from their miserable plight.

Hope for a positive anticipation by the concerned authorities in the crying need of my city.
